Phyllis Pouyat Thibodeau - Career Coach Washington, DC
Phyllis Pouyat Thibodeau has served as Executive Career Consultant and Associate Director for MBA Career & Professional Development since 2007 supporting over 1000 working professional students per year at Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland. She brings over 25 years of experience in both corporate and higher education management, combining expertise in organizational systems, adult professional education, leadership and international program development. As Director for Study Abroad Programs at Cornell University (1987-2000), Phyllis worked with partners to develop an experiential education enterprise for Architects, Artists and City Planning students in Rome, Italy. During these years she also worked on various cross-functional organizational development and employee training projects and served as Business Process/Finance Systems Analyst for University-wide change management. As Director of Career and Cooperative Education at UMUC, she served as adjunct faculty teaching career management and experiential learning courses, while overseeing integrated workplace project partnerships for professionals in government, commercial and non-profit organizations both nationally and internationally.

Lindsay Guido - Career Coach Brattleboro, Vermont
Lindsay Guido has always found great satisfaction in helping others discover who they are professionally and lead them in the right direction to start conquering their career goals. Lindsay has been providing career counseling services for over six years to diverse populations, specializing in the field of higher education. She has worked for Western New England University in Springfield, MA, Union Institute & University in Brattleboro, VT, and Keene State College in Keene, NH guiding both students and alumni through major and career exploration, job attainment, goal-setting activities, and self-discovery assessments. Lindsay is also savvy to the world of employers with experience working as a Staffing Manager for Robert Half International in Seattle, WA where she handled the job placement and staffing need for over 60 clients. She has created and delivered numerous workshops and presentations on topics including self-assessment, resume writing, networking, and interviewing skills and is a Certified Job and Career Development Coach. Lindsay is a soon-to-be graduate student of Union Institute & University’s Master of Arts in Psychology and Counseling program in Brattleboro, VT and has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Western New England University where she majored in Marketing Communications & Advertising.

Squeak Stone - Director, Career and Practicum Service Center
Squeak has been with the SIT Graduate Institute since 2003 in roles including the Program Assistant for the Leadership for Social Justice Program funded though the Ford Foundation, SIT Off-Campus Coordinator, Field and Practicum Manager, and most recently as the Director of Career and Practicum Service Center. Squeak has been directly responsible for over 450 students in their off-campus phase and has managed the 4-yearly capstone seminars. In the past year, she has brought the Career Connections Job Database and InterviewStream mock interviewing tool to the SIT Graduate Institute’s Career and Practicum Service Center. Squeak is an alumnae of the SIT Graduate Institute with a MA in Management, serves on the Board of Director for Meeting Waters YMCA, loves monitoring & evaluation, and has work and / or traveled in over 50 countries.

Frank Riley - Outreach Coordinator Intern
Frank’s current role at SIT is Outreach Coordinator for Career and Practicum Services. In this role Frank contacts and recruits employers to present internship opportunities to students. He also helps in planning of special events, like the Career-a-Palooza. He is currently a student at Antioch University where he will be receiving a sustainable business certificate in May 2014. Frank’s experiences have been centered on leadership development and teaching inner city youth. Originally from Maine, Frank relocated to Vermont to get his bachelors degree in Sociology/Anthropology from Green Mountain College. He has taught English in China and worked for organization like City Year and the Student Conservation Association.
