The Power of Theatre

The film follows a village theatre group in Nepal, as they bicycle along dirt roads and put on shows in the communities along the way. We see how the village audiences discuss social problems through the plays and themselves join in the performances, acting out ideas and solutions to problems they face in the daily lives. The actors, who all come from the local communities themselves, talk about why they decided to become artists and what theatre means to them.
